Acadia Career and Experiential Learning

Career and Experiential Learning helps Acadia students explore career possibilities, build skills and confidence, and connect learning to opportunities during and after their degree. We also work closely with employers, community partners, and faculty and staff to create meaningful opportunities and support student success.

For students

We can help you:

  • explore career and further education options

  • prepare resumes, cover letters, and interview strategies

  • find and apply for opportunities (including co-op work terms and other experience-based learning)

  • reflect on what you're learning and describe your skills with confidence

For employers and community partners

We can help you:

  • connect with Acadia students and recent graduates

  • share opportunities (co-op work terms, student jobs, projects, and other engagement)

  • navigate hiring and onboarding supports and processes

  • build longer-term partnerships that support talent development

For faculty and staff

We can help you:

  • connect students to career and experiential learning supports

  • collaborate on experiential learning opportunities and partnerships

  • share resources that help students identify and communicate their learning and skills

  • strengthen pathways from academic programs to future opportunities
